Credit Refund Policy

This policy covers refunds and the validity period for Celon credits, provided by Celon Inc. (the “Company”). It forms part of the Terms of Service and prevails over the Terms where the two differ. The Korean version of this policy is authoritative; this is a reference translation.

1. What credits are

  1. Credits are prepaid entitlements to use the Company’s AI model routing service. They are not money, a deposit, a security, or an ownership stake in the Company.
  2. Credits may not be transferred or sold to anyone else without the Company’s prior consent, and are not exchangeable for cash.
  3. The amount charged at top-up includes the platform fee. The fee is charged once, at top-up; each request afterwards draws only the model’s cost.

2. Refunds

  1. Credits you have topped up are non-refundable. The Company discloses this at checkout, and you are taken to agree to it by completing the payment.
  2. Where mandatory law — including the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce — requires a refund, the Company follows that law. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits a right the law gives you as a consumer.
  3. If the Company fails to provide the service through its own fault, you may request a refund of the amount corresponding to the part not provided.
  4. If a payment is made against your wishes — a stolen payment method, a clear duplicate charge — the Company will cancel it. Contact support@celon.ai in that case.

3. Validity and expiry

  1. Credits are valid for one year from the top-up date. Unused credit expires once that year has passed.
  2. Credits are drawn down oldest top-up first. So if you have topped up several times, the oldest top-up is spent first and is also the first to reach its expiry date.
  3. The amount due to expire and its date are always visible on the credits screen in the console. An expiry is written to your transaction history as a negative entry, so you can see after the fact exactly what expired and when.
  4. Free, promotional, and event credits may carry their own validity period and usage conditions, which are stated when they are granted.

4. Payment records

  1. A receipt is issued for every top-up and can be viewed and printed (saved as PDF) from Credits > Transactions in the console.
  2. Payments made with a Korean card (Toss Payments) also carry the card company’s sales slip; payments made with an international card (Polar) carry the invoice issued by the payment provider.
  3. For tax invoices, bank transfer payments, or postpaid billing, contact sales@celon.ai.

5. Abuse

The Company may reclaim credits obtained through fraudulent payment, abuse of the refund process, creation of multiple accounts, or promotion abuse.

6. Changes to this policy

The Company may change this policy and will give 30 days’ notice before any change that disadvantages users takes effect. Credits already topped up remain governed by the policy in force when they were purchased.
