Requests route themselves
It reads the difficulty of each request and sends it to the right model.
See what you saved
Track your savings live on the dashboard, then again in a monthly report.
Example
Beyond routing, we plug every leak.
The same question is never billed twice
When a similar question comes back, it reuses the saved answer. That request costs $0, so teams with lots of repeat questions save the most.
An outage never stops you
If one provider goes down, it instantly reroutes to another.
Personal data is masked before it leaves
Resident IDs and card numbers by default, plus your own custom patterns and blocked terms.
Resident ID [hidden], card number [hidden] are swapped out before they leave.
Go over budget and it stops on the spot
Set monthly caps per team or key, and requests past the limit are denied (402) or shifted to a lighter model.
Your savings, at a glance
See how much you saved last month right on the dashboard.
Example
Last month you handled 128,400 requests and saved 63% versus usual.
Routing, two ways. Hand it over, or hold the line.
Hand it all to celon/auto and it picks for you; keep your current model and just set a savings target.
MODE 01
Hand it over
Just put celon/auto where the model name goes. It picks from the whole lineup for you, or you can pick by situation — coding, top quality, top speed, or lowest cost.
Tailored options for the capability, speed, quality, or price you want
celon/code · celon/quality · celon/nitro · celon/floor
MODE 02
Save while keeping it
Don't want to change your main model? Just set a savings target. It hands off the lightest requests first to a lighter model until it hits your goal.
CUSTOM
Want finer control? Set the criteria and method yourself with per-request options.
Before savings, safety.
Four layers of guardrails inspect every request before it leaves. Pick one of three policies.
No conversation storage
Only the numbers needed for billing are kept. The content just passes through — it's never stored anywhere.
Automatic PII masking
Resident IDs, card numbers, and phone numbers by default, plus any custom patterns your org registers (employee IDs, contract numbers, and more) — all masked before they leave.
Secret and blocklist filtering
Sensitive strings like API keys are stopped on the spot, and your company's blocked terms are blocked or masked per policy.
Inspection mid-stream
It keeps inspecting even as the answer streams out, and stops the moment it spots a violation.
Every action logged
What was blocked and what was masked is kept as an audit log you can review anytime.
Keep your own keys
Connect and use the provider API keys you already have (BYOK).
Same quality, a different bill.

celon.ai
The RouteLLM study (ICLR 2025) reports 35–85% cost reductions across benchmarks while keeping 95% of GPT-4 quality. The 60% above is an illustrative rate within that range — actual savings depend on your traffic mix, tracked live on your dashboard.

Frequently asked questions
Won't quality suffer?
Hard requests always go to the best model. When it's borderline, it's designed to send to the higher model, so you only save on the easy requests.
How much code do I have to change?
The URL and the key — two lines. Your existing OpenAI SDK code works as-is.
Are my conversations stored?
No. Only the numbers needed for billing (token counts, cost) are kept; the content isn't stored.
Which models can I use?
Models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, and more are connected, and the list keeps growing. Name a specific model and it routes only there; if you'd rather just set a goal, use celon/quality (top quality), celon/nitro (top speed), or celon/floor (lowest cost).
How is pricing calculated?
A 5% platform fee is added once, when you top up credits: top up $100 and you pay $105, leaving a $100 balance. Requests then draw the model's cost at cost, and a request served from cache draws nothing at all. No hidden margin.
Can I use the API keys I already have?
You can connect and use them directly. Each provider's billing stays on your existing accounts.
